How about using the LICENSE and NOTICE file that are already being generated in
target/maven-shared-archive-resources/META-INF/LICENSE in e.g. the
apache-servicemix module ? The LICENSE file contains a lot more information
and the NOTICE file is just a short one there.
Also, going by this list, it looks like we should add the BSD and MIT license
texts to the /licenses folder in the assembly as well.
