Hi

Some months ago we have decided not to drop the suppport for Java 6 and not to
increase the compilance level to Java 7 in ServiceMix 6.0.x --
http://servicemix.396122.n5.nabble.com/DISCUSS-Java-6-support-in-ServiceMix-6-tp5723006.html.
It looks like since 6.0.3 the support for Java 6 is broken (e.g. due to the
broken support introduced in Karaf 3.0.6 --
http://karaf.922171.n3.nabble.com/Java-6-support-broken-in-Karaf-3-0-x-td4047157.html).
One user has reported us this problem --
http://servicemix.396122.n5.nabble.com/ServiceMix-6-0-3-and-Java-6-support-td5723820.html.

Nobody else has reported the problem with upgrade to ServiceMix 6.0.3, so it
looks like other people are running on Java 7. The user reporting this problem
probably starts his journey with ServiceMix, because he tries to work with the
Getting Started Guide. So I think we have no deployments on Java 6. But
theoretically we could break ones deployment. But in this situation I'd like to
propose to remove the information about Java 6 support (e.g. from the release
schedule matrix and from the documentation) to stop confusing the users. The
release schedule matrix for other versions (also for 6.1.x) has no information
about Java 6, but the outdated documentation has and should be removed too.

Regards
Krzysztof
