Hi all, A few days have passed since I launched the Trello board https://trello.com/b/hUTQuH6q/codename-apache-shindig-2015 and people have spoken.
It's pretty clear that most of us want to move over to Github and the project to be hosted under a new organization name that will act as an umbrella for a set of new subprojects. I've created 2 new lists: one for suggesting and voting for an org name and the other for suggesting other useful projects using latest technologies and trends. The way i see it is that the original monolith should be transferred as is, as many people are hesitant of breaking it down. This will allow us to keep the original engine version at a stable state and at the same allow us to focus on the creation of a shareable ecosystem of new age services and components. So go to Trello, suggest names and vote. By the end of this week we must have finalists to get things going. Best regards, Chris
