Resolving SHIRO-180 may introduce changes that cannot guarantee downgrade compatibility, as should be the case for point releases. (i.e. you should be able to downgrade from 1.1.2 to 1.1.0 without any changes at all to your source code).
Besides, what's the harm? I think both Alan and I raised valid concerns that can be addressed even in the next few hours. It's not like a few-hour delay will cause harm to getting the release out. I'm just curious... Les
