Hi Kalle, Yep, that's the standard maven release path - I just didn't know if you did anything else specific to ASF's goals/requirements.
As to the license policy, I don't believe that's entirely correct: we can't depend on any GPL libraries for example. Now, I'm fairly confident that Atlassian's libraries don't have similar licensing terms, but we don't know for sure, and we just can't risk a release with that in the source code until we can _guarantee_ that. That being the case, we do have to roll back the existing first attempt at the release, since the code is included in those artifacts. But this is ok - I had planned on doing this first thing today anyway - it's no sweat off of anyone's back but mine. Best, Les
