I am trying to merge the pull request.
Here are some ideas/problems,
1. we need three types of logs, log to screen (e.g., accuracy), log to file and
log for debugging
2. do we need the verbose indicator, which is typically used in some projects.
3. how can we remove the dependency on glog?
If you have read related code from other projects, pls share it.
