Moaz Reyad commented on SINGA-332:
----------------------------------

This bug happens only with Python 2.
The argument encoding='latin1' is required for Python 3, so it can't be removed.
Instead, the solution must work for both Python 2 and Python 3. For example:
{code}
        try:
            cifar10 = pickle.load(fd, encoding='latin1')
        except TypeError:
            cifar10 = pickle.load(fd)
{code}

> Fix the bug of loading data in train.py of cifar10

> In example cifar10, data couldn't be loaded due to encoding error.
> Fix by removing encoding='latin1' in line 50 of train.py.
