Hello all

An other deadline to take in account is FOSS4G, is we want to make a presentation about SIS. The deadline for submission is April 12th.

The FOSS4G event is in September. At this time, I guess that we can reasonably expect to have metadata and referencing modules completed, and the next module (yet to be determined, choice would be between coverage, geometry and features) under way. This may not allow us to make a presentation as sexy as we would like, but we can talk about the project itself, the relationship with international standards, the effort to ensure data integrity (through test suites and different levels of "strictness" in the library), and some advanced features unique to SIS ("projection derivatives" once we have the referencing module, support of the 2013 revision of ISO 19115 if we get that Google Summer of code). While quite technical aspects, from my experience of previous FOSS4G events there is an audience for that.
