I have put the logo [1] on the Maven generated web site. Result can be
seen here:

I reduced the size of the logo, but it still a little bit large. I like
the logo and I think it would be nice in another page layout, but for
the top banner of a Maven generated page maybe a more rectangular logo
would fit better? Does anyone have artistic inclination for that? For
info, it is okay to have an image of the top-left side, an other image
on the top-right side and a fill between the two, like the top banner of
the Maven site [2] or GeoAPI site [3].
