I have been trapped in "Parameter" work because of the similarity in
implementation details between Parameters and Features, even if the
concepts are different. Now I have only 2 weeks left before the deadline
for submitting ApacheCon slides. I did not yet started the slides, and I
think that we need a SIS 0.4 release before the conference... I'm going
to miss time. Consequently would peoples agree to omit Feature - and
consequently Shapefile since it needs Feature - for the SIS 0.4 release?
The class would be untouched on trunk, we would just omit them on the
0.4 tag. We would continue the Feature / Shapefile work after ApacheCon
for making sure that they are included in SIS 0.5, and would try (again)
to release 0.5 faster than we did for 0.4.
What do peoples think?
