Hello Chris

Thanks for the information about the AGU session. Do you know what could
be the main interest of the audience?

  * Are peoples mostly interested in distributing their data on the web
    (i.e. looking for web servers)?
  * Are peoples developing their own applications and interested in
libraries helping them to do their work? If so, is numerical
accuracy an important aspect or are they looking more for visualisation?
  * The title gives me the feeling that the session is a little bit
about understanding the role played by various communities around
geoscience projects, rather than just an enumeration of tools. Is
    that right?

If Apache SIS were presented, we would have hopefully completed the
referencing engine, but that would not be very visual. I may not be able
to be in San-Francisco in December, but if SIS is considered an
acceptable subject and if there is volunteer we may try to prepare
material on this list?

    Martin
