Thanks for the JIRA task and the fix. I will commit them today.
For the test case, I will try to arrange it in a way that avoid the use
of the shapefile. In my understanding, what the Apache Foundation
officially distribute is the source code; the binaries are considered
only a convenience. Since the source code includes the JUnit tests, the
licensing terms apply also to them.
