Should we ask the infrastructure team to migrate the 4 main branches
("JDK8", "JDK7", "JDK6" and "trunk") of SIS source code repository from
SVN to Git? We were used to consider that there is no rush, but the
reason why this proposal appears now is for allowing us to perform a
"push --force" on the JDK8 branch of Git repository. In the current
situation the pushes are performed by git-svn, which provides no
mechanism for "push --force" as far as I know.
The data directory, web-site and IP review pages would stay on SVN.
