Hello again
With about 8 months left before Java 9 release (scheduled for end of
July 2017), I would like to start experimentations with Jigsaw
modularization (I expect an issue with our use of an internal JAXB
class), new Javadoc generator (may require an upgrade of our taglets),
multi-release JARs, JShell (I may try it for demo at ApacheCon), fused
multiply-add, etc. Is there any objection against creating a JDK9 branch
for Apache SIS? If agreed and if successful, I would probably switch my
developments on that branch instead than the JDK8 branch and merge
periodically as today (or at whatever frequency the community prefers).
