Hello all

We could consider making an Apache SIS release soon. Given that current
version has fairly complete "metadata", "referencing by coordinates" and
"units of measurement" functionalities, and given that those
functionalities are stable (except for upcoming changes required by
updates in international standards), should we target a "1.0" release
instead than "0.8"?

This proposal is pending the release of GeoAPI 3.0.1 in order to allow
the replacement of JSR-275 by JSR-363. If for whatever reason the SIS
release has to be done against GeoAPI 3.0.0, then I suggest to keep the
"0.8" version number.
