Just to be more specific, in a use case where someone would want to
translate the metadata of a NetCDF file into XML, the work flow would be:
NetCDF --(1)--> ISO 19115-1 --(2)--> XML
The part that you are revisiting is step 1 (translation from NetCDF to
ISO 19115-1), while Cullen worked on step 2 (translation from ISO
19115-1 to ISO 19115-3, i.e. XML).
