Note for Apache SIS list: just to put elements in context, the ACDD
(Attribute Convention for Dataset Discovery) discussion in this thread
are used in Apache SIS for building ISO 19115 metadata from netCDF files:

The discussion about distributing ACDD information in CSV or other file
formats is an effort ESIP kindly does for helping us to resolve this task:
