Hello all
The long overdue upgrade of EPSG database in Apache SIS is about to
start. We are in the process of upgrading from JUnit 4 to JUnit 5, which
will facilitate interactions with the GIGS tests [1], which depend on
JUnit 5 for the Java part. Then the upgrade of the data model to ISO
19111:2019 will start tentatively this Friday (Apache SIS is currently
follows ISO 19111:2007). It will be followed by an equivalent WKT 2
upgrade, then finally the EPSG database upgrade. This work will
hopefully be completed in March. I propose that we do an Apache SIS 1.5
release after that.
