Apache SIS currently uses [JIRA for issues
tracking|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SIS/]. But the ASF [allows also
the use of GitHub|https://infra.apache.org/request-bug-tracker.html]. Migrating
to GitHub may improve the visibility of the SIS project. It would require that
we copy the existing JIRA issues to GitHub, but the [Maven project went through
this
process|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/MAVEN/JIRA+to+GitHub+Issues+switching],
so maybe we could leverage their experience. This proposal has been [discussed
on SIS mailing
list|https://lists.apache.org/thread/1l3l4jog2zv15j7ph0s7jz1vz5kz9jpv].
