Hi all, I’m writing to introduce Yihao Chen, as known as Superskyyy in GitHub [1].
He began to contribute to SkyWalking Python agent in 2021 Summer of Code, not only did he finish the project in that activity but also undertook (and is undertaking) a lot of extra works in the community, take a look at his plan [2]. Up to now, he has 14 pull requests merged in Python agent repo [3], committed over 10k lines of code, (though ~6k were brought by renaming files [4]), containing important features like, (1) non-intrusive agent installation [5]. (2) log report via http / kafka protocols [6] and other non-trivial enhancements. From my perspective, he has contributed a lot and is ambitious to contribute more, so I would like to discuss (and vote if no objection) to vote him in as a new committer, to recognize his contributions and encourage him to continue the contribution.
