The keytabs folder is seen as a folder that can be leveraged beyond one cluster
launch, i.e. the principals persisted to the keytab may be leveraged for the
launch of other clusters. In that way it is similar to the package folder.
The install-keytab command is analogous as well, offering the ability to
overwrite keytabs if a particular one needs to be replaced.
