An application specific appropriate amount of time (in seconds) needs to be set
for the new property {{site.global.app_container.release_timeout_secs}} in the
_*global*_ section of _*appConfig.json*_ file used to create an application.
If this property is set to *N* say (where *N* is a positive integer), then
Slider AM will ensure to give at least *N* secs to all running containers, to
perform pre-shutdown operations and/or graceful shutdown.
If *N* is 0 or negative or if this property is not set at all, Slider AM falls
back to its original behavior where it provides a random time between 0 to 10
secs to perform any operation, before the container is reclaimed by YARN.
