Steve Loughran created SLIDER-1013:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Handle RM notifications of imminent pre-emption and try
to stop
Key: SLIDER-1013
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLIDER-1013
Project: Slider
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: agent, appmaster
Affects Versions: Slider 0.90
Reporter: Steve Loughran
YARN can send a warning of an imminent pre-emption, giving the AM 15s of time
to do something before it goes.
Now there's a stop action, we could have this triggered on a warning. Or, given
there's very little time, we add a new preempted action which is required to
take <15 seconds.
