Manoj Samel created SLIDER-1070: ----------------------------------- Summary: Component name with character dash ( "-" ) in it errors out Key: SLIDER-1070 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLIDER-1070 Project: Slider Issue Type: Bug Components: core Affects Versions: Slider 0.80 Reporter: Manoj Samel
Slider version 0.80 with secured cluster. Attempt to create a component with characters like dash '-' or many other characters fail to bring up the component with error. It seems the only valid character in component name besides [A-Z][a-z[0-9] is underscore '_'. Per discussion, dash is a allowed character and should work, hence filing jira. I recreated issue with OOB jmemcached by creating component name my-name. The component fails to come up. The component agent log shows following error.
