This is a great draft. Only one suggestion on the below sentence -

"We are still waiting to hear back from the YARN community as to whether
or not they would be interested in such an "adoption".

- Although YARN-4692 talks greatly about Slider, an adoption-discussion
email has not been initiated in the YARN community. So we should remove
this sentence.
