I think I've fixed this in slide SLIDER-1130; closing this as a duplicate.
Regarding changes, I have expressed my concern that the Yarn project's notion
of "stable" differs from mine, YARN-5130. Essentially, something which may be
stable to use, may not be stable to subclass.
Anyway: fix was to get rid of the subclass and use the existing one direct
