This release contains a new package introduced in SLING-9999. That issue isn't listed in the release notes in JIRA and it is currently not Resolved yet. Furthermore, there is still a discussion going on about whether that move makes sense. I'm not sure we should call a release with the introduced org.apache.sling.api.resource.type package in it before it is clear we want it in our API.
