Good question @billdinger . The [ASF release policy](https://www.apache.org/legal/release-policy.html) states that > Release votes SHOULD remain open for at least 72 hours. We follow this recommendation for almost all of our releases, except for very time-sensitive fixes. The release vote is now concluded [1] and the 2.3.6 version is available on Maven central [2].
