We would like to change a setting in the vanity path configuration (the
"resource.resolver.vanity.precedence"-setting).
Currently, we would have to reconfigure
org.apache.sling.jcr.resource.internal.JcrResourceResolverFactoryImpl, which
already has a lot of default (good) settings applied to it.
Next to that, reconfiguring it, causes a lot of service restarts etc.
It would be beneficial if only the vanity configuration could be modified
separately. Whenever that configuration changes, it would be fine to just use
the new settings as-is, without restarting the whole
JcrResourceResolverFactoryImpl (and thus restarting almost all Apache Sling /
AEM in our case).
I propose to create a dedicated vanity URL configuration, and remove all the
vanity settings from the factory configuration.
