Sorry, my question was badly phrased: what I meant is that people already need to have a UI to configure JCR access control - if this new feature requires a different UI it would be a Bad Thing. And as Carsten mentioned this UI question was not really relevant anyway, as this thread is only about providing a low-level mechanism to block access to certain resources. -Bertrand
