When Eclipse uses a bundle pool (
https://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox/p2/Getting_Started#Bundle_pooling ) as is
usually done by the installer bundles are cached.
When updating from a locally build p2 site the 'shared' bundles are not
refreshed because they have the same name/version and are therefore pulled from
the p2 pool, not from the update site.
Workaround:
- uninstall Sling IDE tooling
- Go to Preferences → Ooomph → Bundle pools and run the Cleanup Agent
- install Sling IDE Tooling
