oak-auth-external is a lightweight module that only brings in a couple of no-op
components by default. Including it makes it easier to deploy modules requiring
it ( e.g. https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-auth-oauth-client )
without requiring separate feature files for each Starter version, in order to
match the version of oak deployed.
