interesting - i had a look in all apache repos and did not found any usage (except in other retired projects): https://github.com/search?q=org%3Aapache+org.apache.sling.launchpad.base+language%3A%22Maven+POM%22&type=code&l=Maven+POM so, if there are use cases form it outside of the sling project, i'm wondering how we can support those in the future without using it ourselves any longer. but for me it's also fine to keep it undeprecated if there is a need for it. stefan
