As we see in this thread we still have diverging views on how this should work - I have created https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SLING/Sling+NG+Launcher to try and help build consensus on the requirements. That's just a first shot for now, I'll reread this thread as soon as I find some time and expand/fix as needed. But feel free to edit already! -Bertrand
