------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-09-14 23:08 ------- >My ham hits: > >84% Craig Hughes >12% Anne Mitchell >4% other anti-spam mail (2 messages) > >total = 100% I'm guessing that the typical SA tester - someone involved with the project - is probably not likely to be someone who would sign up to receive mail from one of the dozens of senders and their lists which are represented in IADB (collectively sending about 500million pieces of email a month, at last count). But if any of them were to subscribe to LockerGnome, Macjournals, IndieWIRE, This is True, or any of the legion of senders' lists sent through e-Dialog, Innovyx, Informz, aWeber, or Constant Contact/Roving, to name but a few, they'd be getting tons of ham hits. If this doesn't make sense and I haven't explained it well, please let me know and I'll try to clarify - but basically what I'm saying is that the lack of hits in an SA tester's corpus is not nearly so indicative of a lack of email from IADB-listed IPs (of which there is no lack) but rather of the nature of the sorts of mail to which the typical SA tester would subscribe.
