Summary: plugins have no standard way to report parsing error
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 3.0.0
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: Plugins
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

with the standard config options, a result of INVALID_VALUE or
MISSING_REQUIRED_VALUE (etc) results
in a warning/lint output, etc. with a plugin, however, that output isn't quite
so available.

ie, in parse_config, use:

      Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf::Parser::set_numeric_value($conf, $key, $value,
$line)

to set a conf value using the standard parser function. but a bad return value
from this function
doesn't trigger any lint errors or warnings, etc.

I'm adding in a kluge to the 3.1 plugins that use this functionality just so
it's there, and then we can fix
it permanently via this ticket.
