well, i've finally debugged this thing completely down as far as i can go
without jumping into Storable further.

looks like it hangs on a Storable::dclone() call in SpamAssassin.pm..  not sure
if it was the first dclone() or second in the elsif, i can debug that further if
needed, but it'll be another few days before it happens again i believe.
