I'm not convinced that we've been blocked by the review process. Bug 4505 has taken forever to resolve, but it's primarily a lack of patches for review, or, perhaps it's not been made clear when a review is needed. Either way, I don't think the above proposal would have helped us. I'm -1 (assuming we need a majority; this is not a veto), until I can be convinced that this would actually speed up the release process by a meaningful amount. :-) -- Duncan Findlay
