We have Perl v5.6.1 on RedHat 7.3
Recently upgraded from 3.0.0 to 3.1.0
spamd dies at random intervals several times a day.
When running in foreground with -D, the last few lines were:

Out of memory!

I did not see an error, apart from "out of memory".
The system has 7Gb of RAM and monitoring does not show a trend in
free memory before the crash. I wondered if a particular kind of
"poison mail" was responsible but I have not been able so far to check this.
