Nov 7 13:34:06 ibmlaptop spamd[21997]: Use of uninitialized value in
concatenation (.) or string at /usr/bin/spamd line 1777.
Nov 7 13:34:06 ibmlaptop spamd[21997]: server hit by SIG

Using the patch in Comment #8 I see this repeatedly on FC4, but spamd does not
crash. Using the same on RHEL4, spamd children die and the main process seems
to be in some stuck.

Nov 7 13:36:01 ibmlaptop spamd[22085]: server hit by SIGCHLD
Nov 7 13:36:41 ibmlaptop last message repeated 4 times

Changing the parameter to "CHLD" as suggested above, I don't see the error
anymore, but I see these repeatedly forever.
