Summary: MIME_BASE64_TEXT will fire on an out-of-box Outlook
install on Traditional Chinese WinXP
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 3.1.0
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: Rules (Eval Tests)
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
If a user installs Microsoft Outlook 2000 on a traditional Chinese Windows XP
installation, the mailer is configured to send mail out with a charset of "big5"
and a Content-Transfer-Encoding of base64. This combination hits the rule
MIME_BASE64_TEXT
I shall attach a patch which exempts big5 charset when trying to determine if
the MIME_BASE64_TEXT should fire
