Summary: Plugin detection spews mail logs
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: Plugins
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I couldn't find another bug open on this, so bear with me. It looks like the
plugin detection you've added isn't trapping errors, so despite Mail::SPF being
optional, each iteration of spamassassin attempts to load the module, bombs,
continues happily (and spews @INC into mail.err, mail.info, mail.warn, etc.) Is
this going to be fixed in the next release? I'd rather not package the gentoo
ebuild to force spf support unless the user wants it, but the alternative right
now is a junked mail log.
