Summary: New trick for SURBL avoidance
Product: Spamassassin
Version: SVN Trunk (Latest Devel Version)
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: Rules
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I'm seeing a lot pf plain-text mortgage and drug spams containing a link on a
line by itself like the following:
http://infelicitous<onerous>.amanoitte.com
Sometimes there is only a single < or > character rather than both.
These never seem to trigger surbl rules. I suspect the <> characters may be
intentionally screwing up uri parsing.
