Hi,
I've got 10 messages, all spam, that mass-check repeatedly hangs up on
(gets stuck on that message and consumes all of the system cpu time).
The kicker is that both spamassassin and spamd process these messages
fine. Weirder yet, if I only mass-check the problem messages they are
processed fine. It's only when they're dispersed amoungst the rest of
my corpus that they cause mass-check to hang.
Any ideas?
Is this with --net? that's the only thing I can think of that
would have enough state to cause that...
Nah, just local tests. I've been banished to dial-up land so no net
tests for me.
Try narrowing it down to the smallest possible corpus subset, that
displays the problem. tricky! ;)
Yeah, I didn't think I'd get lucky with some fix. It'll be a while
before I'll have that much time to expend. One of my friends died
Saturday so I'm running his movie theatre company at night and working
during the day right now.
I can provide the messages, probably privately. I'm not sure posting
them publicly is a good idea. At least not until I'm sure it's not just
something screwed up with my server.
open a "security" bug as a venue, then; we can all see that.
Will do.
