Summary: Perl preinstall testing under Solaris breaks system
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 3.1.5
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Solaris
            Status: NEW
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P5
         Component: Building & Packaging
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When installing SpamAssassin as root under Solaris,
one of the preinstall tests changes the hostname to "--fqdn".
Some network services thereby become severely disturbed.

This is because the Solaris "hostname" command different from the Linux one
doesnt know any argument other than a hostname new to set:
"The hostname command prints the name of the current host,
as given before the login prompt.
The super-user can set the hostname by giving an argument."
