We are experiencing a very slow performance ou site-wide SA on Red Hat Linux.
OS shows high Disk I/0, the database size is 160MB as per bellow. We have tried
to expire tokens but it didnt change the size of the DB file. It became better
but is becoming slower and slower again...

I have run the following.
/usr/bin/sa-learn -p /root/.spamassassin/user_prefs --rebuild
--force-expire
The --rebuild option has been deprecated. Please use --sync instead.
bayes: synced databases from journal in 1 seconds: 935 unique entries
(3370 total entries)
So I did
/usr/bin/sa-learn -p /root/.spamassassin/user_prefs --sync
--force-expire
