This is occurring b/c upon initial startup, the spamd parent tricks itself into
thinking it's "overloaded", because it checks for idle children, and finds none
(because they are all still starting up), and tries to accept a non-existent
connection. See http://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=5388
where I suggested a half-baked patch (oops, under the wrong account over there)
to prevent this. It still needs to be fixed, even though my patch suggestion
was not fully thought-out.
