Tom, could you attach an example email that triggers the rule? The dot at the
end of the FQDN from the reverse DNS should not cause a problem, and it doesn't
on other mail servers that I tried, and the HELO string of just the domain
doesn't cause a problem when I edit it in by hand on a sample email. So I'll
need an actual example with all headers, preferably with the SpamAssassin
result headers that prove that the rule is indeed triggering in that case.
