I find it very convenient to find release notes distributed with software.
It is a quick way to check for important changes or caveats, without having
to research what is the distribution channel for each software or module or
library I'm upgrading and how their web page is organized. I think many/most
perl modules do come with release notes, at least the more complex ones.
