Summary: X-Spam-* header fileds are inserted in the middle of a
Return-Path
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 3.3.0
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P5
Component: Libraries
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
With non-spam messages, or with spam messages and report_safe 0,
SpamAssassin inserts its header fields in the middle of a multiline
Return-Path header field.
For example, given a message:
Return-Path:
<[email protected]>
From: [email protected]
To: [email protected]
Subject: test
Date: Fri, 4 Dec 2009 08:21:42 -0800 (PST)
Message-id: <[email protected]>
test
the resulting message from 'spamassassin -t' is:
Return-Path:
X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.2.5 (2008-06-10) on xxx.ijs.si
X-Spam-Level: **
X-Spam-Status: No, score=2.9 required=5.0 tests=NO_RECEIVED,NO_RELAYS,
TVD_SPACE_RATIO autolearn=no version=3.2.5
<[email protected]>
From: [email protected]
To: [email protected]
Subject: test
Date: Fri, 4 Dec 2009 08:21:42 -0800 (PST)
Message-id: <[email protected]>
test
Note that X-Spam-* header fields were inserted between "Return-Path:"
and its body "<[email protected]>".
This happens both with SA 3.2.5 and with 3.3.0-rc1.
